This is a new documentary about a Chinese-American family’s search for their roots that leads them to Mississippi, where they discover not only their lost history but the seldom-discussed history of the early Chinese in the segregated South.

The Chinese pop ballad “Your Love Has Found Me” is featured in the French film Zulu starring Academy Award-winning actor, Forrest Whitaker and Orlando Bloom. The film is set in South Africa and enjoyed an international release. The song was written and performed by Larissa Lam.
